Where did yesterday go? lol
My sister, niece and great nephew came over yesterday and we all watched Joey play soccer and he scored a goal to boot. After that we all went to Sizzler and had lunch and rolled out the door - full.
It has been a couple of years since I have had that kind of family time and it was so nice.
This morning we saw mum off at the airport and we all had tears in our eyes. Joey stayed and watched her plane take off and he said he is going to sleep in the bed she was in while she was here. He misses her already and didn't want her to go.
The good news is that she will be back here in four months for Christmas, yay.
Every time mum comes there is always lessons and growth and I have said to mum that I learn when she stays with us. As I left home at 17 1/2 and left down south to come up here when I was 20 so I have been here 23years.
I am so appreciative to still have my mum around, I call her a living legend, as she is.
